Activities Summary

  

(i)Distributing/ distributed Uniform , shoes and Jackets were given from time to time to poor, needy, disadvantaged and marginalized students apart from giving away prizes and encouragement amounts excelling in studies or doing/did other extraordinary activities since 2000. 


(ii) Organising/ organised “DOCTOR AT DOOR STEP” Health Camps and Melas throughout 22 years of its existence, benefitting around 75 K patients through approx 70 free Eye & Health check-up camps approximate expenditure about Rs 35 lakhs since 2000 till date 

(iii) Organised 1200 freecataract operations in Remote areas of Uttarakhand worth Rs 6 lakhs during 2001 to 2008. 


(iv) Distributing/distributed Specs, hearing aids, tri-cycle, artificial limbs, walkers, sticks and stretches to divyangjans, impaired, differently abled and disadvantaged 

in association withNIVH now known as NIEPVD) worth Rs 2 lakhs during 2001 to 2006 and thereafter on and off on our own. UKMSS also organized Mobile Camps with the help of Health Authorities for on the spot certification of Physically Handicapped persons by taking District Medical Boards at the door step


(v) Set up Eco friendly environment and making Uttarakhand Plastic free by setting up Iron grill enclosures for collection of Plastic waste in busy markets worth Rs 0.50 lakh in January 2021 


(vi) Encouraged Greenery and Eco friendly environment by planting of trees during Shravan month Harela festival of Uttarakhand and in monsoon period.


(vii) providing/ Provided Awareness about our ancient Vedic value system, ethics, way of life, yoga, medicines, Management, science, environment, literature, astrology, geophysics, intellectual discourses, abstract subjects like Atma and Pramatma through lectures and discourses at a number of conferences, Seminars, congregation enshrined in Vedic Era Vedas and Epics by thoroughly learned, intellectual and persons saints like Gopal Maniji Maharaj, our Patron and other equally learned persons huge Congregations at different Places like well famed Ram Lila Ground in Delhi , NCR and Uttarakhand, since December, 2004 (Repeated 

in 2009, 2014, 2016, 2018) from time to time expenditure worth Rs 20 lakh. 


(viii) Shared knowledge about medicinal values of Bye Products of Indian Cow like of cow urine, dung, butter, buttermilk, ghee, panchgabya etc for curing chronic ailments like Cancer, heart, BP, sugar, Kidney, Liver, skin, brain, acidity and gas through exhibitions Counters for distributing pamphlets, write ups and other useful information relating to by- products of cow by associating the Governmental Agricultural departments and Universities, in 2009 and onwards, for display of distilled cow urine, cow dung file covers and boards, soaps, insecticides, disinfectant, incense sticks (Dhoop, agarbatti), Hawan cakes, ayurvedic medicines prepared from these by- products in February 2009, Feb 2014, 2016 and 2018. 


(ix) Supervised Daily door to door cow Rickshaw services in IP Extn and nearby colonies in East Delhi to collect fresh chapattis, dry ration, fruits, vegetables, jaggery and fodders for cows in nearby Gaushalas since January, 2012 spending around Rs 10 lakhs


(x) Organised Gramin Sports like cricket, volleyball, athletics, local sports for students and village populace since 1999.


(xi) Gave away 4000 Blankets, Warm Clothes, sarries, other clothes to poor, needy, marginalised and disadvantaged persons in Uttarakhand since 2000 but stepped up in 2020 and 2021 all worth Rs 8 lakhs other than as at (xi) to (xiv) above 


(xii) Distributed one truck Load( Canter) of material in Haridwar consisting of 1000 blankets, 3000 durries, 200 Tirpal (Tarpaulin), 200 dry ration bags to persons displaced by unprecedented Flood in Haridwar in 2011, utensils etc in association with Bhartiya Jan Sewa Sansthan, Delhi all worth Rs 6 lakh


(xiii) Distributed 200 blankets, 100 sets of full family utensils, dry Ration, basic long lasting and not immediately perishable vegetables requirementh, in Ookhimath, Rudraprayag District to affected persons/families during nature’s calamity in August 2012 in association with Uttarayani ( NGO)


(xiv) Distributed 7 truck Loads of self contained Dry ration material, 500 Blankets, 500 Tarpaulin Sheets, 200 portable solar battery emergency lights cum chargers , 200 complete kitchen Utensil and dry vegetables inJuly-August,2013, Flood devastation of Kedar Valley in association with Uttarayani ( NGO) sets etc 


(xv)  Sent one truck load of Ration bags and 200 nos of track suits for pilgrims doing 168 km Nanda Raj Jaat Yatra in Chamoli in 2014 worth 2 lakhs for Bhandara for food requirement of participants.


(xvi) Distributed basic medicine worth Rs 2 lakhs in Remote areas of Uttarakhand during 2nd wave of Covid-19 in April/May 2021 and also distributed about 200 ration kits in Delhi, Noida, Ramnagar and in Pauri District in 1st and 2nd waves of COVID-19 during June-Sept, 2020


xvii) Signed 2 MOUs with United Way of Bangaluru for distribution of 45000 N95 masks made by Arvind Mills and Coordinated by Sattva Consulting under ACT Grants and separately 3000 N95 masks and infra red thermometers and oxygen Concentrator with 50 oxygen filling bags donated by World Vision, Delhi and also distributed Ration kits under door step reach out programme during Covid- 19 pandemic Uttarakhand, Delhi, UP(NCR) all worth Rs 25 lakhs.


(xiii) Conducted a survey, sponsored by Uttarakhand Council of Science and Technology( UCOST), in 2022-23 on awareness of breast cancer in association with AIIMS, Rishikesh in Pauri district of Uttarakhand and covering about 600 married females males. In next stage UKMSSD will analyse causes of Cancer incidences in Hills by organising Mobile Cancer checkup Camps


(xix) Distributing/distributed school shoes, stationery items, jackets, blankets etc in association with Lancer Footwear, Piragarhi, Delhi and MID Vira Vision


(xx) Started on line and off line free coaching for SSC conducted examinations for Central Govt Group ‘C’ posts like MTS, Delhi Police, CHSL, CGL, Tax and Audit Assistant, Assistant, Bank, Railways, PSUs from 2nd March,2022  or UKSSC/UKSSSC organized Group C services exams like, Police , Patwari, Tehsildar, Gram Vikas Adhikari, Forest Gaurds, Prison security and Jail Wardens etc from 27th June, 2022 for disadvantaged, under privileged and poor students of Hills/Ramnagar in association with Mauka Shikshan Foundation, Delhi 


(xxi) Distributed/distributing tarpaulin sheet to shanties or dilapidated house owners to protect them from rain water seepage, roof leakage, sun or cold winds in Association withSri Hari  Health & Education Foundation, Delhi in 2021-22,22-23 


(xxii)Distributed 950 Blankets in hill areas of Uttarakhand to poor and needy to protect them from cold, sponsored by GLMS Pvt Ltd, Vijaylaxmi Mansol Pvt Ltd, Mrs N Goel

and Mr Abhai Ranjan and other well wishers in 2021-22,2022-23


(xxiii)Installed 30 sets of Sanitary Napkins Vending Machine (SNVM), Sanitary Napkins Disposal Machine (SNDM or Incinerator) and HSM & 30,000 Sanitary Pads for 30 schools in Haridwar (10), Pauri Garhwal(17) and Almora(03) Districts of Uttarakhand. After signing an  MOU on 12thJuly, 2022 with Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) for sponsorship of  these Machines. A pit for disposal of Ash of burnt Napkins has also been sponsored by the IRFC


(xxiv) Organised free group marriage for poor and disadvantaged couple at Sector 51 Chandigarh on 25th October, 2022 in association with Subh Lagan Patrika with all rituals


(xxv) Organised Sahityakar Samman Samaroh (programme) on 6th November for honouring renowned or budding Uttarakhandi Literary persons ( Awards Category- Sahitya Vibhusan, Sahitya Bhusan, Sahitya Sadhna, in Delhi on 6th November, 2022 at Hindi Bhavan 


(xxvi) IOCL is actively considering sponsorship of 30 Sanitary Pad Vending & Disposal Machines,Hand Sanitising Machines etc
